Blood cancer awareness.
The goal was simple: Leverage Blood Cancer Awareness Month to raise $300,000. Before the Someday is Today campaign launched, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society had no digital footprint to speak of. IPNY used realistic copy and dramatic photographs of cancer survivors to create a brand impossible to ignore. We reskinned Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and the LLS homepage. The survivors featured in social media appeared as well in the LLS annual report. The SIT campaign took on a life of its own as LLS chapters and cancer-fighting individuals adopted the message. There’s even a Someday is Today credit card.
Results: Our efforts resulted in a 6x lift in followers and fans, and led to increased online donations from social channels.
